Renee Rowland serves as the Board Director of Recharge for Vets and brings years of project management and process improvement experience to the organization. As the wife of founder Mikol Rowland, Renee initially joined the mission to help support and advance his vision of serving fellow veterans through meaningful outdoor experiences and connections.

What began as support for Mikol's dream quickly became a passion of her own. Moved by the stories, sacrifices, and resilience of the veterans we serve, Renee became deeply invested in every aspect of the organization. From coordinating Recharge experiences and working directly with nominees to managing systems, schedules, vendor relationships, volunteer engagement, sponsorships, social media, board operations, and strategic planning, she plays a vital role in keeping the organization moving forward.

Renee is also the driving force behind organizing each Recharge experience, working to ensure every veteran feels appreciated and every event is memorable, meaningful, and reflective of our gratitude for their service. Much of her work happens behind the scenes, but her impact is felt throughout every part of Recharge for Vets. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to both the mission and the people it serves help ensure we can continue creating life-changing experiences for veterans while supporting the volunteers, partners, and community members who make that mission possible.
